First Pre-Cover Inspection Completed
Our inspection just finished and we're ready to close up the majority of the parts. There will be one more pre-cover inspection before we do the final assembly. The inspector was very helpful and gave us a few tips and tricks. He said that he was satisfied and would fly in the plane. There are 2 rivets we need to replace and a couple of other minor things but nothing serious or a significant amount of work. It was a relatively painless process.

Waiting for inspection
Today we spent some time organizing the shop and going over all the parts for a second time to prepare for the inspection. We looked over everything to make sure that there wasn't anything obvious that we hadn't done and that we were working according to the standards required. Everything looks good from our point of view and, barring weather, the inspection should take place next Saturday. Personally I(Scott) think that guarantees a massive snowstorm but we'll see. If the inspection does get delayed we'll just move onto the fuselage.
